Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near the Tarragona Cathedral, start walking towards Plaça del Pallol. Head down the Carrer de la Mercè, which will lead you straight to the Plaça del Pallol. Once you reach the square, look for the local history museum, Mapping Tàrraco, which is located right in the center of the square.

  • Public Transport

    Take the local bus line L-1 from the main bus station (Estació d'Autobusos de Tarragona), which is within walking distance from the city center. Get off at the stop 'Plaça de la Font.' From there, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk. Head southeast on Carrer de la Unió until you reach Plaça del Pallol. Mapping Tàrraco will be located at the square.

    If you're at the Roman Amphitheatre, exit and head west towards the Carrer de la Unió. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Plaça del Pallol. Mapping Tàrraco is situated in the square, and should be easily identifiable.
