From Tarragona, head to the Tarragona train station, which is located in the city center. You can walk there from most tourist areas. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for a train heading to Sitges. Trains to Sitges are frequent, typically departing every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at the Sitges train station, exit the station and you will find yourself in the heart of Sitges.
Bus
You can also take a bus from Tarragona to Sitges. Head to the main bus terminal in Tarragona, located near the city center. Look for the bus service that goes to Sitges. Buses may not run as frequently as trains, so check the schedule in advance. The bus ride takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Sitges, the bus will drop you off close to the center of town, making it easy to explore.
Walking
If you are looking for a more adventurous route and have the time, you can walk to Sitges from Tarragona. This option is not recommended unless you are an experienced hiker, as it is approximately a 35 km trek along the coast. Start from the Tarragona waterfront and follow the coastal path through the beautiful scenery until you reach Sitges. Make sure to carry water and snacks, as the journey will take several hours.
