Sitges Beach: A Sun-Kissed Paradise on the Costa Brava

Getting There

• Train

  To reach Sitges Beach from Tarragona, start by heading to the Tarragona train station, Estació de Tarragona. From the city center, you can walk to the station in about 15-20 minutes. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for the R2 or R2N train towards Barcelona. The journey to Sitges takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Sitges station, exit the station and walk straight along Carrer de la Davallada. Continue walking until you reach the beach area, which is only about a 10-15 minute walk from the station.

• Bus

  You can also take a direct bus to Sitges from the city center. Head to the main bus station, Estació d'Autobusos de Tarragona, located near the Rambla Nova. Look for the bus company 'Plana' that operates services to Sitges. The bus ride takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Sitges, simply follow the signs towards the beach, which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to Sitges, although it is quite a long distance (approximately 37 km). Start your journey by following the coastal path from Tarragona to Sitges. This scenic route will take you through beautiful landscapes and along the Mediterranean coast. Be prepared for a long hike, as it will take several hours, and ensure you have enough water and snacks.
