Metro and Train
From Valencia, start at the Xàtiva metro station. Take Line 3 or Line 5 towards 'Aeroport'. Change at 'Colón' station to Line 1 towards 'Paterna'. Get off at 'Valencia Nord' train station. From Valencia Nord, take the train towards 'Manresa' which will take you to 'Monistrol de Montserrat'. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Monistrol de Montserrat, follow the signs to the Montserrat cable car (Aeri de Montserrat) or the funicular railway (Cremallera de Montserrat) to reach the top of the mountain where the Abbey is located.

From Valencia, you can take a bus from the main bus station (Estación de Autobuses) to Monistrol de Montserrat. Look for buses that go to 'Montserrat' or 'Monistrol de Montserrat'. The bus ride typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Monistrol de Montserrat, you can either walk to the Abbey or take the funicular railway to reach the Abbey located at the top of the mountain.
