For those opting for public transportation, take a bus from Ampara to Batticaloa. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Batticaloa bus station, exit the bus station and head towards Bazaar Street. You can either walk for about 15 minutes or take a tuk-tuk for a small fee (approximately 100-200 LKR) to reach Batticaloa Ghandi Park at PM7X+GHC.
