    If you are in the center of Anuradhapura, start by heading towards the main street, Sirimala Road. From there, you can walk towards the Ancient City area. Follow signs and maps to the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa which is a well-known landmark. Once you reach Ruwanwelisaya, continue walking along the main pathway towards the B341 road. Turn left on the B341 road and continue walking straight. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see the entrance to the area where ජටිල මාවත is located. Keep an eye out for local signs that may guide you further.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Anuradhapura. Start your journey from the city center and cycle towards Ruwanwelisaya Stupa. From there, continue on the path towards the B341 road. Once you reach the B341, turn left and cycle straight for about 1 kilometer. You will find the entrance to ජටිල මාවත on your right side. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow the local traffic rules while cycling.

    You can easily find a tuk-tuk in the city center or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Tell the driver you want to go to 'ජටිල මාවත' located on B341.
