Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Anuradhapura Railway Station, exit the station and head south on Sirimavo Bandaranaike Mawatha. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Watawandana Rd. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You'll find Lankarama on your right side, marked by its distinct stupa.

    From the Anuradhapura Bus Station, exit the station and walk towards the main road, Sirimavo Bandaranaike Mawatha. Go south for about 700 meters, then take a right onto Watawandana Rd. Walk straight for around 1 kilometer, and Lankarama will be on your right-hand side.

    If you are near the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, head northeast towards the main road, Sirimavo Bandaranaike Mawatha. Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk for about 1 kilometer. Then, turn right onto Watawandana Rd and continue for another 500 meters. Lankarama will be on your right.
