Tuk-tuk
To reach Minneriya National Park for a Jeep Safari from the central bus station in Anuradhapura, first find a tuk-tuk driver. You can ask around or look for one parked nearby. Agree on a price before getting in; it should be around 3,000 to 4,000 LKR for a round trip. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. The tuk-tuk will take you along the A9 road towards Habarana. Keep an eye out for signs for Minneriya National Park as you approach Habarana.

Public Bus
From Anuradhapura, head to the central bus station and look for buses heading to Habarana. The fare will be around 100 LKR, and the trip will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Habarana, ask the bus conductor to drop you off near the entrance to Minneriya National Park. From there, you may need to take a short tuk-tuk ride or walk approximately 1 km to the park entrance.

Walking
If you're near Habarana, you can walk to Minneriya National Park from Habarana town. Head east on Dambulla Road. It’s about a 4 km walk, which will take roughly 1 hour. Follow the road signs directing you to the park. Make sure to bring plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes.
