Getting There

    If you are traveling by car, start from the main road leading to Minneriya National Park. Follow signs that indicate the entrance to Minneriya National Park. Once you enter the park area, keep driving along the main road until you reach the Ticket Office located at 2RMF+2CW, Polonnaruwa. Look for the large sign indicating the Ticket Office, which will be on your left side.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Polonnaruwa to the Minneriya area. Once you arrive at the Minneriya bus stop, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to the Ticket Office. The Ticket Office is approximately 2 kilometers from the bus stop. If walking, head south on the main road and keep an eye out for the Ticket Office on your left side. If you choose to take a tuk-tuk, it should cost around 200-300 LKR depending on the time of day and negotiation.
