Getting there

By Car

From Sigiriya, drive east on Sigiriya Road for about 2.5 km until you reach the entrance to Pidurangala Rock. There is a parking area where you can leave your car before starting the hike up to the rock.

By Tuk Tuk

You can hire a tuk tuk from Sigiriya to take you to Pidurangala Rock. Negotiate a price with the driver before starting the journey. The tuk tuk can drop you off at the entrance to the rock.

By Public Bus

Take a public bus from Sigiriya to Pidurangala Junction. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of Pidurangala Rock. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips to Sigiriya.
