    By Car

    From Colombo, take the Southern Expressway towards Matara. Exit at Imaduwa and continue on A17 towards Deniyaya. From Deniyaya, take the road towards Sinharaja Forest Reserve. The journey by car will take around 4-5 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.

    By Public Transportation

    From Colombo, take a bus to Matara or Deniyaya. From Matara or Deniyaya, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Sinharaja Forest Reserve. Alternatively, you can take a bus to Rakwana and then transfer to a local bus heading towards Sinharaja. The total journey by public transportation can take around 6-7 hours.
