If you are driving from Badulla town, take the A5 road towards Wellawaya. Continue on this road for approximately 15 km. Look for signs directing you to Gadadehigolla. Once you reach Gadadehigolla, follow the local roads for about 3 km, and you will find the Gala Muduna Sri Sambuddhaloka Temple at the coordinates 7.0507663, 81.1130508. There is usually free parking available near the temple.

From Badulla town, you can take a bus heading towards Wellawaya. Buses depart frequently from the central bus station. The fare is approximately LKR 50-100. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at Gadadehigolla. After disembarking, you will need to walk for about 3 km to reach the temple. You may also find tuk-tuks available for hire at the bus stop, which can take you directly to the temple for around LKR 300-500.
