Getting There

    From the center of Bentota, head towards the Bentota Railway Station, which is approximately a 20-minute walk. Once you reach the railway station, you can take a local bus heading towards Beruwala. Buses are frequent and will take about 10-15 minutes to reach Beruwala. Get off at the Beruwala bus station. From there, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk. If walking, head east on Galle Road (A2) for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Kalawila Village turnoff. Turn left onto the side road and continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you find the entrance to Brief Garden on your right.

  • Tuk-tuk

    If you prefer a tuk-tuk, you can easily find one around Bentota. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Brief Garden in Kalawila Village, Beruwala. The ride should take about 30 minutes and will cost around 500-800 LKR, depending on your negotiation skills. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of Brief Garden.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, you can take a bus from Bentota to Beruwala. Head to the main bus stop in Bentota and catch a bus going towards Beruwala. After arriving at the Beruwala bus station, look for a local bus or a three-wheeler (tuk-tuk) that can take you to Brief Garden. The total travel time from Bentota to Brief Garden via bus will be around 30-40 minutes.
