    From the center of Bentota, head south on Beach Road (Galle Road). Continue walking along the beach path for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass various beachfront hotels and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the signposts indicating Maha Induruwa Beach. As you approach Maha Induruwa, you will notice the beach becoming less crowded and more tranquil. The beach is situated just before the village of Maha Induruwa, which is marked by a few local shops and eateries. Once you reach the area, you can enjoy the beautiful sandy beach and the scenic views of the ocean.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From your location in Bentota, hire a tuk-tuk and ask the driver to take you to Maha Induruwa Beach. The journey should take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you along Galle Road (A2), passing through the outskirts of Bentota. Look for landmarks such as the Bentota River, and the driver will eventually turn left towards the beach area at Maha Induruwa.
