    Getting There

    Car

    If you're driving from Colombo, head south on the Galle Road (A2). Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers. As you approach Moratuwa, look for the sign for Lady de Soysa Drive. Turn left onto Lady de Soysa Drive and follow it until you reach Lunawa Beach, which is located at 28 Lady de Soysa Drive. There is typically street parking available, but be mindful of any parking regulations.

    Public Transportation - Bus

    From Colombo, make your way to the Central Bus Stand (Pettah). Take a bus heading to Moratuwa; these buses are frequent and the fare is around 50 LKR. Upon arriving at the Moratuwa Bus Station, take a tuk-tuk or walk to Lunawa Beach. If you choose to walk, head south along Galle Road until you reach Lady de Soysa Drive, then turn left and continue until you arrive at the beach.

    Public Transportation - Train

    Start at Colombo Fort Railway Station and take a train towards Galle or Matara. Get off at the Moratuwa Station, which is about a 30-minute ride. From Moratuwa Station, you can take a tuk-tuk to Lunawa Beach for around 200 LKR. Alternatively, if you prefer walking, exit the station and head south on Galle Road, then turn left onto Lady de Soysa Drive until you reach the beach.

    If you are within Moratuwa or nearby, consider hiring a tuk-tuk to take you directly to Lunawa Beach. The fare should be around 300-500 LKR depending on your starting point. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Lunawa Beach at 28 Lady de Soysa Drive.
