If you are in the vicinity of Colombo Fort, start by heading northwest towards the main road, Janadhipathi Mawatha. Follow Janadhipathi Mawatha for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Galle Face Center Road. Turn left onto Galle Face Center Road and continue walking for about 300 meters. You will see the Cathedral of St. Lucia on your right, just before the roundabout.

Board a bus heading towards Colombo 13 at the Colombo Fort bus station. Look for buses that have 'Colombo 13' or 'Kotahena' displayed in front. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Kotahena stop and walk approximately 5 minutes northeast along the Main Street until you reach the Cathedral of St. Lucia.
