If you're in the Colombo Fort area, start by heading south towards the Galle Face Hotel. From the hotel, continue walking along Galle Road (also known as Colombo - Galle Main Road). You will notice the ocean on your left. Keep walking for about 10-15 minutes until you see the entrance to Galle Face Green on your left, marked by a large open space with palm trees and people enjoying the outdoors.

If you are near a bus stop in the city, you can take a bus heading towards Galle Face. Look for buses with routes that mention 'Galle Face' or 'Colombo 03'. Board the bus and inform the conductor that you want to get off at Galle Face Green. The bus will drop you off at the main road, and it's just a short walk from there to the green space. Follow the crowd towards the ocean, and you will reach Galle Face Green.

Find a tuk-tuk (three-wheeler) in your vicinity. Negotiate the fare to Galle Face Green. Once you are in the tuk-tuk, you can simply say 'Galle Face Green' or show them the location on your phone if you have a map. The driver will navigate the traffic and take you directly to the entrance of Galle Face Green. It is a popular spot, so they will know where to go.
