Car
From the main entrance of Minneriya National Park, head north on the A-1 highway towards Habarana. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A-11 road. Turn left onto the A-11 road and drive for about 15 kilometers until you reach Dambulla. Once in Dambulla, follow the signs to Mainalanthaya, which is located at VQFC+6PF. You may need to use a GPS navigation app for precise directions as you approach the tourist attraction.

Public Transportation
From the entrance of Minneriya National Park, you can take a local bus heading towards Habarana. The bus service is frequent and costs around 50 LKR. Once you reach Habarana, transfer to a bus heading to Dambulla. The fare for this leg of the journey will be approximately 60 LKR. After arriving in Dambulla, you can take a tuk-tuk to Mainalanthaya for about 200 LKR. Ensure to communicate the destination clearly to the driver.
