From the Sigiriya Rock Fortress entrance, walk towards the main road (Sigiriya - Dambulla Road). This path is well-marked and generally safe for pedestrians. Once you reach the main road, turn right and continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and small eateries along the way, which can give you a taste of the local culture. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Dambulla.

Tuk-tuk

If you prefer a quicker mode of transportation, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Sigiriya. This is a popular option among tourists. Simply ask your hotel or any local for a tuk-tuk to 'Pleasure Island' (Sathutu Dupatha). The ride should take about 10-15 minutes and cost around 500-800 LKR. Ensure that the driver knows the exact location by mentioning 'Pleasure Island, Dambulla'.

Bicycle

For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle in Sigiriya. Once you have your bicycle, head towards the Sigiriya - Dambulla Road.
