Getting there

Car

If you're driving to South Point from the Minneriya National Park entrance, head south towards the Dambulla - Habarana Main Road (A11). Continue on this road for approximately 10 km. You will see signs indicating the direction to Dambulla. As you near Dambulla, take a left onto the VQFC+6PF road, which is a small road leading to South Point. The destination should be within 1 km down this road.

Public Transportation

To reach South Point using public transportation, first, exit the Minneriya National Park and walk to the nearest bus stop on the Dambulla - Habarana Main Road (A11). Take a bus heading towards Dambulla. The bus fare is approximately LKR 50-100. Once you reach Dambulla, you can either take a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to South Point. The tuk-tuk ride should cost around LKR 300-500 and will take about 15 minutes.

Walking

If you're already within the vicinity of South Point inside Minneriya National Park, you can walk towards it if it's within a reasonable distance. Make sure to ask locals or park guides for the best walking paths to ensure safety and accuracy. Note that walking may take longer, and it's advisable to do so during daylight.
