If you're traveling by car, head towards Sigiriya from your current location in the Dry Zone. The most common route is via the A1 highway. Once you reach Sigiriya, look for signs pointing towards Pidurangala Rock. It is approximately 3 km north of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The road to Pidurangala is well marked, and you can park your car at the base of the rock. Be ready to pay a small parking fee of around 100 LKR.

To reach Pidurangala Rock using public transportation, take a bus heading to Sigiriya from your nearest bus station. Once you arrive at the Sigiriya bus station, you can either take a tuk-tuk or walk to Pidurangala Rock, which is about a 30-minute walk (approximately 3 km).
