If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest main town, which is Badulla. From Badulla, take the A5 highway towards the town of Haputale. After approximately 25 kilometers, turn onto the B40 road towards Wangedigala. This road will take you through scenic countryside. Follow the signs to Wangedigala, and as you approach, you will see a small path leading to the base of the mountain. There is no entry fee, but ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as fuel stations are limited in the area.
