Follow the A12 road towards the coast, then take a left onto Fort Frederick Road. The fort will be on your right-hand side. Parking is available near the entrance, but be sure to arrive early during peak tourist times to secure a spot.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Fort Frederick using public transportation, take a local bus from the Trincomalee bus station heading towards Fort Frederick. The fare is typically around 30-50 LKR (Sri Lankan Rupees). The bus will drop you off at the closest stop near Fort Frederick. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the entrance of the fort. Tuk-Tuk
