Walking
From the center of Ella, head towards the Ella Railway Station. Once you reach the station, continue walking along the main road (A23) towards the direction of the Nine Arches Bridge. After passing the bridge, keep walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path towards Galpalama. Continue for another 1 kilometer, and you will see signs for Bomburu Ella Waterfall. Follow the signs until you arrive at the waterfall entrance.
Tuk-Tuk
From your accommodation in Ella, ask for a Tuk-Tuk to take you to Bomburu Ella Waterfall. Most drivers are familiar with the location. The ride is approximately 15-20 minutes. You will head towards the Ella Railway Station, then continue on the A23 road, passing the Nine Arches Bridge and following the route to Galpalama. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ella. Start your journey by cycling towards the Ella Railway Station. After passing the station, cycle along the A23 road towards the Nine Arches Bridge. Continue on the main road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the left path towards Galpalama and cycle for another kilometer. You will find signs pointing to Bomburu Ella Waterfall. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
