If you are driving from Nuwara Eliya town, head south on the A5 road towards Hatton. Continue along this road for approximately 7 kilometers. Look for a sign for 'Bomburu Ella Waterfall' just before you reach Galpalama. Turn right onto a smaller road leading into the forest area. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers. You will find ample parking space near the entrance to the waterfall. Once parked, it's a short walk to the waterfall itself.

To reach Bomburu Ella Waterfall by public transport, start at the Nuwara Eliya bus station. Board a bus heading towards Hatton and inform the conductor that you wish to get off at Galpalama. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. After reaching Galpalama, walk towards the sign for Bomburu Ella Waterfall. It is approximately a 2-kilometer walk from the bus stop.
