From the center of Ella, head towards the main road (B522). You can find the main road by walking towards the Ella Railway Station. When you reach the station, continue straight until you are on the B522 road. Once you are on B522, walk along the road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see Dematamal Viharaya on your right-hand side. Look for the entrance marked with a sign that reads 'Dematamal Viharaya'.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Ella. Simply tell the driver 'Dematamal Viharaya' or point to the location on your map. The ride should take approximately 10 minutes from the center of Ella. The tuk-tuk will drop you off right in front of the temple entrance.
