Walking
Start at the Ella Railway Station, which is located in the heart of Ella. Exit the station and head towards the main road (A23). Turn right onto the A23 and continue walking straight. After about 500 meters, you will reach the Ella Rock viewpoint on your left; this is a good landmark. Continue past this viewpoint for another 300 meters until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path at the fork. You will see signs directing you towards Ella View. Follow the path, which will take you uphill for about 15-20 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the lush greenery and stunning views. Eventually, you will reach Ella View, which is located at the coordinates V29X+PV. The final ascent will lead you to a small clearing with breathtaking views of the mountains.
Tuk-tuk
From your accommodation in Ella, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or ask your host to arrange one for you. Inform the driver you want to go to Ella View. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will navigate through the streets of Ella and will drop you off near the entrance to the trail leading to Ella View. From the drop-off point, follow the walking path, which will take you about 10 minutes uphill to reach the viewpoint.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ella. Start your journey from your accommodation and head towards the A23 road. Turn left on A23 and cycle for about 1 km until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left path and continue cycling uphill. Be prepared for some steep portions, but the scenery will make it worthwhile. After about 20 minutes of cycling, park your bicycle at a safe spot and walk the remaining distance to Ella View, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill.
