Walking
From the center of Ella, start at the Ella Railway Station. Exit the station and head southeast on the Main Street (Ella-Wellawaya Road) for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and eateries. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road, then take the left fork towards Wellawaya. Follow this road for another 2 kilometers. Look for a small trail on your right that leads to Riversplendor Waterfall. The waterfall is a short walk from the road along this trail.

After visiting Riversplendor Waterfall, return to the main road and continue walking towards Wellawaya. After about 500 meters, you will see signs for the Spicy Garden on your left. It is approximately 1 kilometer from the waterfall. Follow the signs and take the path leading to the Spicy Garden, which is known for its variety of spices and herbs.
