Start your journey from the Ella town center, where you can find the Ella Railway Station. Head south on the main road (A23) towards the direction of the 'Ella Rock' sign. Walk for about 10-15 minutes, keeping an eye out for the turn-off on your left to Rawana Falls. The road will narrow and become a bit more rugged. Continue straight until you see a clearly marked sign for 'Small Rawana Falls.'

From the Ella town center, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Small Rawana Falls. Simply ask the driver to take you to Rawana Falls, and they will know the way. The journey typically takes around 10 minutes. Make sure to agree on a price before you start your ride. Once you arrive, you may have to walk a short distance to reach the falls.

For the more adventurous, you can hike to Small Rawana Falls from Ella. Start on the trail leading towards Ella Rock. Once you reach the viewpoint on the rock, look for a path leading down towards the falls. Follow the path which leads you through some lush greenery and local villages. The hike may take approximately 1-2 hours depending on your pace, but it will offer beautiful views along the way.
