Getting There

Car
From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head east on the A5 road. Continue straight until you reach the junction at the Grand Hotel. Turn left onto the B1 road towards Kandy. After about 2 kilometers, look for a sign indicating Shanthipura. Turn right onto the road leading to Shanthipura. This road is steep and winding; proceed with caution. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will reach the Shanthipura View Point. There is parking available near the viewpoint.

Public Transportation
From the Nuwara Eliya town center, take a local bus heading towards Kandy. Inform the driver you want to get off at Shanthipura. The bus will travel along the A5 road before turning onto the B1 road. After about 20-30 minutes, you will arrive at the Shanthipura stop. From there, it is a short walk uphill to the Shanthipura View Point. Follow the signs leading to the viewpoint which is approximately 1 kilometer away.
