From the center of Ella, head towards Station Road. Follow the road until you reach the junction with the Ella-Wellawaya Road. Turn left onto Ella-Wellawaya Road and continue walking for about 500 meters until you see signs for Ella Mountain. The path to Ella Mountain will be on your right. Follow the path, which is well-trodden, and take your time as you ascend. The hike will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. As you approach the summit, you'll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Ella. Start from the town center and head towards Station Road. Ride along Station Road until you reach the junction with Ella-Wellawaya Road. Turn left onto Ella-Wellawaya Road. Continue for about 500 meters, and look for the sign directing you to Ella Mountain on your right. Park your bicycle at the base of the mountain and proceed on foot, as the last part of the journey is on a hiking path. The hike up will take around 30-45 minutes.
