Walking
From the center of Ella, head towards the Ella Rock trailhead, which is near the Ella Railway Station. After arriving at the station, take a left onto the main road (A23). Walk straight for about 1.5 km until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork onto the road leading to Badulla. Continue walking for approximately 2 km along this road until you see signs pointing towards Hangiri Ella. Follow the signs for another 1 km, and you will reach Hangiri Ella, which is located near the coordinates WX74+QQV.

If you enjoy trekking, you can hike from Ella to Hangiri Ella. Start at the Ella Rock trailhead and follow the trail up the mountain.
