Walking
Starting from the Ella Railway Station, exit the station and head south on the main road (A23) towards the town center. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the town square. Here you'll find several shops and restaurants. From the square, look for the signs towards Kithalella. Proceed onto the Kithalella Road which is a right turn off the main road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will notice a sign for Medapathana Kithalella on your left. Turn onto this road and continue walking approximately 300 meters until you see Mount Shadows on your right.

If you prefer a quicker mode of transport, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Ella town. Simply tell the driver 'Mount Shadows' or 'Medapathana Kithalella.' The journey will take about 10 minutes, and the fare should be around 300-400 LKR. The driver will take you directly to the location, which is approximately 2 kilometers from the town center.

Bicycle
For those who wish to explore the area on two wheels, you can rent a bicycle in Ella. Start from the town center and cycle towards Kithalella, following the Kithalella Road. It's a scenic route, and you will have the opportunity to enjoy the local landscape. Once you reach Medapathana Kithalella, look for Mount Shadows on your right side. The total cycling distance is about 2 kilometers and may take around 10-15 minutes.
