Fantastic food, great location!

Great fun cooking multiple curries in a home setting, and then getting to eat them all for lunch. I'm afraid we did not manage to eat all that we cooked though! Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home and sharing your skills.

Most Enjoyable!

My two friends and I loved this class. It was super fun going to the market and choosing which veggies we should cook. Then we went back to a lovely second floor kitchen and while it was raining learned how to make 7 different dishes and got the recipes for them. The woman teaching us was so nice and helpful. And it made for a most delicious lunch! It was a great way to spend a morning. Highly recommend this class.

The Recipe for a Perfect Lunch

What a privilege to be welcomed into Kodi and Meena’s home to learn how to prepare and cook a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Our trip to Galle’s Fish and Vegetable markets accompanied by Kodi was so much fun. So many varieties of fresh produce to choose from and characters selling them! Meena’s explanation of preparing the various dishes was very clear and her introduction to the key spices very helpful as were the recipes in written form. As each dish was completed we were getting hungrier and hungrier and finally we could sit down to lunch. It was all delicious and we left feeling inspired to create some of the dishes back home. Fully recommend this activity.
