Car
If you are driving from Gampaha, take the A1 highway towards Colombo. Once you reach Colombo, follow the signs for the Colombo Fort area. As you approach the city, take the slip road towards Independence Avenue. Continue straight on Independence Avenue and look for the landmark on your left. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Independence Square from Gampaha using public transport, take a train from Gampaha Railway Station to Colombo Fort. From Colombo Fort, exit the station and take a bus heading towards Colombo 7 or Cinnamon Gardens. Get off at the bus stop closest to Independence Avenue. Walk along Independence Avenue, and you will see Independence Square ahead. Alternatively, you can take a tuk-tuk from Colombo Fort directly to Independence Square for a more convenient ride.
