Getting There

  • Car

    From Gampaha town, head northeast on the A1 highway towards Kurunegala. After approximately 10 km, take the exit towards the B10 road for Minuwangoda. Continue on the B10 for about 12 km until you reach Minuwangoda. In Minuwangoda, turn left onto the B200 road and follow it for about 8 km. You will see signs directing you towards Dehiella Waterfall as you approach the area. Park your car at the designated parking area nearby the waterfall.

    From Gampaha town, take a bus heading to Minuwangoda. Buses leave frequently from the main bus station. The fare is approximately LKR 50. Once you arrive in Minuwangoda, you can either take a tuk-tuk or another bus towards Dehiella Waterfall. The tuk-tuk ride will cost around LKR 300-400 and will take about 15 minutes. Alternatively, look for a bus heading towards Dehiella or the surrounding area, although this may be less frequent.
