If you are driving, navigate to Colombo via the A1 highway from Gampaha. Once you reach Colombo, take the exit towards Prof Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha. The Sri Lanka Planetarium is located on this street. Look for parking options nearby as street parking may be limited.

Public Transportation - Bus
From Gampaha, board a bus heading directly to Colombo. You can catch a bus from the Gampaha Bus Station. The fare is approximately LKR 50-100, depending on the bus type. Upon reaching Colombo, get off at the nearest stop to Prof Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha. From there, it is a short walk to the planetarium. Look for signs directing you to the planetarium; it should be within a 10-15 minute walk.

Public Transportation - Train
Take a train from Gampaha Station heading to Colombo Fort. Train fares are generally around LKR 30-70 depending on the class you choose. Once you arrive at Colombo Fort, exit the station and take a taxi or a three-wheeler (Tuk Tuk) to Prof Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha. The taxi fare should be roughly LKR 300-500 based on traffic conditions.
