Car
If you are driving from the center of Hambantota, head west on the Main Street (A2) towards the coast. Continue straight for about 3 km until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto the Galle Road (A2) heading south. Drive for approximately 5 km, and you will see a sign for SIMA Beach View Point on your left. There is a small parking area available for visitors.
Public Transportation
To reach SIMA Beach View Point by public transportation, first, take a local bus from Hambantota bus stand heading south towards Tangalle. The bus fare is approximately 50 LKR. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the SIMA Beach View Point. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you get off, walk about 300 meters towards the coast; you will see the view point ahead. Be prepared for some walking, as public transport may not drop you directly at the entrance.
Tuk-Tuk
For a more personalized experience, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Hambantota. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around 500 LKR to SIMA Beach View Point. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the view point.
