    If you're driving from the Hambantota city center, head southwest on Main Street (A2) towards the Galle Road (A2). Continue on A2 for approximately 10 kilometers. You will pass the Hambantota Port on your left. After about 10 kilometers, look for signs indicating Mirijjawila Beach. Turn left onto the road leading to Mirijjawila Beach and follow it for about 5 kilometers until you reach the beach area. Parking facilities are available at the beach.

    From Hambantota town, you can take a local bus heading towards the southern coastal areas. Look for buses that indicate their destination as 'Mirijjawila' or 'Hambantota Beach'. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Mirijjawila Beach. From the bus stop, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the beach. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance for the return trip.
