Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Nuwara Eliya, take the A5 road towards Kandy. Continue on the A5 for approximately 25 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Ramboda Falls. The falls are located just off the A5 road, and you will see a small parking area near the entrance. Parking may incur a small fee, usually around 100-200 LKR.

  • Public Transportation

    From Nuwara Eliya, you can take a bus heading to Kandy. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at Ramboda. The bus journey takes about 1 hour and costs approximately 50-100 LKR. Once you get off, you will need to walk about 1 kilometer down the road to reach the falls. Be cautious of the traffic.

  • Tuk Tuk

    If you prefer a more direct route from Nuwara Eliya, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Ramboda Falls. This will cost you around 1000-1500 LKR for a round trip. Ensure to agree on the price before starting your journey. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the falls.
