Car
If you're driving from Kandy, take the A26 highway towards Digana. Continue on this road for about 14 km until you reach the junction to the A5 highway. Turn left onto A5 and follow it for approximately 24 km. You will pass through beautiful tea plantations and small villages. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Pussellawa. Once you reach Pussellawa, look for the coordinates 3MR5+P2P, which will lead you directly to Delta Falls. Ensure to park your vehicle in a safe area and prepare for a short hike to the falls.
Public Transportation
To reach Delta Falls using public transportation, start at the Kandy Bus Station. Take a bus towards Pussellawa; the journey will take approximately 1 hour and cost around 100 LKR. Once you arrive at Pussellawa, you can ask locals for directions to the falls. It's about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop to Delta Falls, so be prepared for a short hike. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water for the walk.
Tuk-Tuk
After reaching Pussellawa by bus, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Delta Falls. This will cost approximately 300-500 LKR depending on your negotiation skills. The tuk-tuk ride should take about 10 minutes. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your journey. Once you reach the drop-off point, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the actual falls.
