If you are starting from the Jaffna Fort, head south towards the main road (A9). Once you reach the A9, turn left and continue walking. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. After about 1 kilometer, keep an eye out for a sign pointing towards the Dutch Kachcheri Ruins. The ruins are located on the left side of the A9. It should take you approximately 15-20 minutes to walk there.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Jaffna. Start at the Jaffna Library and head towards the A9 road. Turn right onto A9 and cycle for about 2 kilometers. You will pass the Jaffna Hospital on your left. Look for a sign directing you to the Dutch Kachcheri Ruins on your left side. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
