Getting There

  • Walking

    From Jaffna Fort, head south along the A9 road. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with KKS Road. Turn left onto KKS Road and continue walking for another 15 minutes. You will see the Dutch Fort on your right side at M265+R97. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take about 25 minutes.

    If you are renting a bicycle, start from Jaffna town center and head north on the A9 road. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto KKS Road. Continue on KKS Road for another 1 kilometer, and you will find the Dutch Fort on your right at M265+R97. The bike ride should take around 10-15 minutes.

    To reach Dutch Fort by Tuk Tuk, find a Tuk Tuk stand in Jaffna town. Inform the driver to take you to M265+R97, near Chundikuli. The ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on traffic and will cost around 200-300 LKR.
