Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Kalutara town and take the A2 road heading towards Galle. Continue on the A2 for approximately 10 km until you reach the town of Beruwala. From Beruwala, take the B7 road towards Gavaragiriya. Follow the B7 for about 8 km. As you approach Gavaragiriya, look for the sign indicating Pahiyangala. Turn onto the road leading to Pahiyangala, where you will find designated parking areas available.

Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transportation, start at the Kalutara bus station and take a bus heading to Beruwala. Buses run frequently, and the fare is approximately 30 LKR. Once you arrive in Beruwala, transfer to a bus heading to Gavaragiriya. The fare for this leg is around 20 LKR. After reaching Gavaragiriya, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to Pahiyangala, which should cost about 100 LKR. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they can drop you off near Pahiyangala.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Kalutara town directly to Pahiyangala. This option provides flexibility and direct access. The cost for this ride should be around 1,500 LKR, depending on your negotiating skills and the time of day.
