If you are driving from Kandy city center, take the A26 road towards Matale. After approximately 5 kilometers, look for the turn off to Giragama. Follow the signs or use a GPS to navigate to 7JVP+P9P, Kandy. Parking is available near Giragama Walawwa.
Public Bus
From Kandy city center, head to the main bus station and look for buses heading towards Matale. You can catch the bus labeled with 'Matale' and tell the driver you want to stop at Giragama. The bus fare is typically around LKR 50-100. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Giragama stop, and walk approximately 500 meters to reach Giragama Walawwa.
Tuk-Tuk
For a more convenient option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Kandy. Negotiate the fare before beginning your journey; it should cost around LKR 300-500 depending on your starting point. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes directly to Giragama Walawwa.
