Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Kandy. Head south on Peradeniya Road (A1). Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach Kandy Clock Tower, which is a prominent landmark. From the clock tower, take a left onto Kandy - Colombo Road (A1) and follow the road for about 500 meters. Look for the signs pointing towards the Kandy Clock Tower View Point, which is just a short distance ahead on your right. There is limited parking available near the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
To reach Kandy Clock Tower View Point using public transport, head to the Kandy Bus Station, which is located in the city center. Take a local bus that goes towards Peradeniya or any bus that passes by the Kandy Clock Tower. The fare is usually around 30 LKR. Once you get off at the Kandy Clock Tower stop, the viewpoint is a short 5-minute walk. Simply head towards the clock tower and follow the road signs indicating the viewpoint.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Kandy Clock Tower, you can easily walk to the viewpoint. From the clock tower, go southeast on Kandy - Colombo Road (A1). Walk for about 500 meters, and you will find the entrance to the Kandy Clock Tower View Point on your right. The walk is pleasant and takes around 10 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be steep in some areas.
