Car
If you are driving from Kandy city center, head towards the A1 highway. Follow the signs for Peradeniya. Once you reach the A1 road, continue straight for about 5 kilometers. Look for the signs for Peradeniya Bridge; it will be on your right. There is parking available near the bridge, but please note that space can be limited during peak tourist seasons.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Kandy city center, take a local bus heading towards Peradeniya. Buses depart frequently from the Kandy bus station; the fare is approximately 30 LKR. For a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Kandy. Negotiate the fare before starting the journey; it should cost around 300-500 LKR depending on your location. The ride usually takes about 15-20 minutes. The tuk-tuk driver will know the Peradeniya Bridge well, so you can simply ask for them to take you there.
