Car
If you are driving, head towards Kandy city center. Once you reach the Kandy Clock Tower, take the A26 road heading towards Peradeniya. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 km until you see the entrance to the British Garrison Cemetery on your left. There is limited parking available nearby.
Public Transport - Bus
Take a local bus from Kandy Bus Station heading towards Peradeniya. Buses frequently run along the A26 route. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the British Garrison Cemetery. The journey will take about 20 minutes, and the fare is around 50 LKR. Once you get off, walk back about 100 meters, and you will find the cemetery entrance on your left.
Tuk-Tuk
You can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Kandy. Simply tell the driver you want to go to the British Garrison Cemetery, located near 7JVV+55F, Kandy. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes from the city center, and the fare will typically range from 300 to 500 LKR depending on your starting point and negotiation with the driver.
Walking
If you are close to Kandy city center, you can also walk to the cemetery. From the Kandy Lake, head northeast towards the A26 road. Follow the road for about 1.5 km, and you will reach the cemetery on your left. This should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
