    Start at Kandy City Centre (KCC). Exit the mall and head towards the main road (A26). Turn right onto A26 and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Continue until you reach the intersection with Matale Road. Turn left onto Matale Road (B3) and walk for about 500 meters. The Sri Muthumariamman Temple will be on your right, near the Alawatugoda area. Look for the temple's distinct colorful facade as a landmark.

    From your location in Kandy, find a tuk-tuk stand. Tell the driver you want to go to Sri Muthumariamman Temple in Alawatugoda. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Follow Matale Road, and the temple will be on your right.
