Car
If you are traveling by car in Kegalle District, start by heading towards Rambukkana. From the center of Kegalle, take the A1 highway towards Rambukkana. After approximately 8 kilometers, you will reach Rambukkana. Once in Rambukkana, follow the signs for the Millennium Elephant Foundation, which is located just off the main road. Look for a small road leading towards the foundation, which is approximately 2 kilometers from the main road. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach the Millennium Elephant Foundation by public transportation, locate the nearest bus station in Kegalle. Take a bus heading towards Rambukkana (the fare is approximately 40 LKR). The journey should take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Rambukkana, ask the driver or locals for directions to the Millennium Elephant Foundation, which is approximately a 2-kilometer walk from the bus stop. Alternatively, you can take a tuk-tuk from the bus stop to the foundation for around 200 LKR.
