If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Kilinochchi Town. Head south on A9 road toward Mannar. Continue straight for approximately 80 kilometers. You will pass several small towns along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Mannar. Once you enter Mannar, follow the signs toward Mannar Dutch Fort, which is located near the sea. The fort should be directly visible as you approach the coast. Make sure to park in the designated areas nearby.

To reach Mannar Dutch Fort via public transportation, take a bus from Kilinochchi Central Bus Station to Mannar. Buses run regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes about 2 to 2.5 hours, with a fare of approximately 100-200 LKR. Upon arriving at Mannar bus station, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to the fort. The fort is about 2 kilometers from the bus station. A tuk-tuk ride will cost around 150-200 LKR.
